About QA

Mission

Quality Assist's mission is to increase the knowledge, skills, resources, and resourcefulness of adults who have significant influence on the lives, education, and well-being of young children.

Since 1987, Quality Assist has provided training and technical assistance for more than 15,000 early childhood teachers, administrators, coaches, mentors, and trainers to achieve the highest professional standards of quality. Our clients are teachers and administrators working in child care, Head Start and Early Head Start programs, state funded pre-k classrooms, and family child care settings. Together we have achieved unprecedented results.

How do we achieve results

Our services are grounded in research, guided by practical experience, and aligned with enduring values. We form partnerships with administrators, teachers, trainers, mentors, coaches, and parents. Together we evaluate the circumstances, resources, and needs to formulate a plan to improve the quality of the early education that is ambitious yet realistic. As a partner, we stay with our clients through implementation of their plan to ensure that resources are optimized and that changes to the plan are timely, aligned with client values and goals, and produce desired results.

We meet our clients where they are and move with them to maximize their potential in unexpected ways. Together, we unsettle static ideas, examine entrenched notions and methods, reveal new possibilities, and draw upon untapped energy and excitement about teaching and learning.
