Dear Mentor Directors,
The Mentor Director Network is having their quarterly meeting on November 3, 1999 at Quality Assist. As decided at the last Network meeting, the topic will be the proposed changes for DHR regulations - "What are creative ways we can meet them?" Invitations will be sent to all child care programs in the the greater Atlanta area. Jo Cato of DHR and Kay Hellwig of OSR will be the guest "experts."
This meeting will be an opportunity for Mentor Directors to provide mentoring services in the community by supporting a discussion/brainstorming session on creative ways programs can meet the proposed regulations. The Network is urging ALL Mentor Directors to attend and to invite 3 or 4 directors from their Director groups or from their community.
If possible Mentor Directors are asked to come at 9:15am to give them an opportunity to have a pre-meeting discussion. The times for the meeting on the Network invitation will be 10:00am to 12:00pm.
Please give me your input on the meeting format. I look forward to hearing from all of you.
